RentingAuthority provides a maintenance request management platform for independent landlords and residential tenants. We are not affiliated with any prior business that may have operated under this domain name.
By using RentingAuthority — whether as a landlord with a dashboard account or as a tenant submitting requests via SMS — you agree to these Terms of Service.
Tenants are enrolled in SMS messaging by their landlord. When a landlord registers a tenant's phone number, the tenant receives a one-time opt-in invitation asking them to reply CONFIRM [CODE] to verify enrollment. No maintenance-related messages are sent until the tenant confirms; tenants who reply NO are removed and receive no further messages. All messages are transactional only — enrollment confirmation, maintenance request acknowledgements, and vendor assignment and status updates. We do not send marketing messages via SMS.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

RentingAuthority is provided "as is." We make no warranties regarding uptime, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
